Skatepark locates in the central park of Helsinki. Micropolis is made out of granite, concrete, grass, bushes and trees. The main idea was to create a public skatepark that would offer an architectural experience for a regular citizen and would feel as a natural streetspot for a skater. Natural means that it would have its own character as permanent public space and wouldn’t seem that it’s built just for the skater.
